Cold Shipping & Delivery Options – What You Need to Know

Cold shipping is particularly important for premixed peptides, which are already reconstituted and therefore more sensitive to temperature fluctuations. However, unreconstituted peptides (lyophilised) can be shipped without cold shipping, as they are in their dried form, which helps preserve their structure during transit.

Here’s why cold shipping is essential for certain peptides – and why it’s not always necessary:

Premixed Peptides (e.g. pens):
We recommend cold shipping for premixed peptides, as they are more vulnerable to temperature changes once reconstituted. Cold shipping helps maintain a stable, low temperature, preserving their potency and preventing degradation.

Please note: We currently only ship premixed pens to France, Spain, and Portugal. For all other countries, we advise purchasing lyophilised (unreconstituted) versions.

Unreconstituted (Lyophilised) Peptides:
Cold shipping is not necessary for lyophilised peptides. These peptides are shipped in their dried form, which protects their molecular structure and integrity during transit. All shipments are also carefully packaged to avoid exposure to sunlight and other environmental factors that may affect potency.

Shipping Options Across Europe:
For both types of peptides, we offer:

  • Express Europe Shipping for rapid delivery

  • Flat Rate Europe for a more economical option

Peptides are shipped with meticulous care to ensure stability and preserve their integrity.

Lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptides are dispatched in their dried form to maintain structural stability, while premixed peptides are transported under controlled conditions at 2–8°C in a cold-chain delivery van. Each order is securely packaged to protect against environmental factors such as heat or sunlight, which could compromise potency.

This process ensures that all peptides — whether lyophilised or premixed — arrive in optimal condition, ready for storage, reconstitution, or research use.

You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been completed.
If you are in Spain, your parcel will stay with SEUR for the full delivery.
For all other countries, SEUR will hand your parcel over to DPD or Chronopost France, depending on your delivery location.

👉 Please note: you will need to use the international tracking number on the hand-over courier’s website (not on SEUR) to follow your parcel’s journey.

Products sold by Research Peptides Europe are non-returnable

Please send an e-mail to admin@researchpeptides-europe.com within 24 hours after placing your order. However once your order has shipped we are unable to modify/cancel your order. A member of our Research team will assist you in modifying or issuing a refund whichever is necessary.

Lyophilized refers to a process called freeze-drying. In this process, a substance, such as a peptide, is frozen and then subjected to a vacuum environment. This causes the frozen water (ice) within the substance to sublime directly from solid to vapor, effectively removing moisture from the material without causing it to melt.

The result is a dry, stable product with a longer shelf life compared to its original form. Lyophilized products are often more stable during storage and transportation, making them convenient for research applications. To research lyophilized products, they are typically reconstituted.

All instructions will be provided in a simple step-by-step guide.
The process is very easy to follow, and all the necessary items will be included in your order to complete it successfully.

After your order has been placed, a video guide will also be available. To receive it, please request the video via WhatsApp and include your order number in the message.

At Research Peptides Europe, we are committed to providing only the highest quality peptides on the market. To give you complete peace of mind, we work with trusted third-party laboratories to conduct thorough testing on every batch of our products.

Our peptides are supported by third-party Certificates of Analysis (COAs), which verify their purity, potency, and authenticity. These COAs are available upon request, so you can trust that each product meets the highest standards.

We pride ourselves on offering the best peptides in Europe—ensuring that your health and wellness are always in safe hands. When you choose us, you’re not just getting a product, you’re getting the assurance of quality, consistency, and excellence.

If needed, it is very easy to reconstitute peptides, and we provide a step-by-step guide with every order to walk you through the process. You will also receive all the necessary items to complete it confidently.

If you request it, we can also send you a video tutorial showing exactly how to reconstitute your peptide.

When dealing with peptides that have been stored in the refrigerator, it’s essential to allow the vial to reach room temperature before reconstituting. This helps preserve the peptide’s integrity and ensures optimal results in your research or application.

For cartridge-based peptides, we can also provide a separate video guide if requested, as the refill process differs from standard vials. It’s important to understand this distinction, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is available for all our products.

Mannitol is a sugar alcohol widely used in peptide formulations for its stabilizing and protective properties. It enhances peptide stability by preventing degradation during processes such as lyophilization, ensuring the preservation of bioactivity. Additionally, Mannitol improves solubility, facilitates better reconstitution, and helps protect peptides from moisture, maintaining their integrity. Its excellent flow properties also contribute to more efficient handling and accurate dosing during production.

All our peptides maintain stability at room temperature for about 30 – 60 days.

However, upon reconstitution, we advise refrigerating them for optimal storage conditions.

Please see below for recommendations

Storing peptides in the refrigerator helps maintain their stability and effectiveness by minimising degradation over time. This practice ensures that the peptides retain their optimal quality for research or application purposes.

Lyophilized peptides can be stored in the fridge for up to two years. For reconstituted peptides, the fridge can maintain their stability for about 30 days.

  • Stability at Room Temperature: Lyophilized peptides can often remain stable at room temperature (20-25°C / 68-77°F) for several weeks to a few months, depending on the specific peptide.
    • Typically, around 1-3 months is considered safe for most lyophilized peptides if stored in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
  • Best Practice: Although some peptides are stable at room temperature for extended periods, it’s always best to store them in a cool, dry place and avoid temperature fluctuations to preserve their potency.

Once peptides are mixed with a solvent, they should ideally be used within 30 days when stored in the refrigerator. For longer storage, freezing at -80°C is recommended, though care must be taken to avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Optimal Storage Durations for Peptides

Here is a summary of the ideal storage conditions for different types of peptides:

State Condition Temperature Stability Duration
Lyophilized Short-term Room temperature 30-90 days
    Refrigerator 1-2 years
  Long-term Freezer (-20°C) 2-3 years
    Freezer (-80°C) Indefinite
Reconstituted Short-term Refrigerator (2-8°C) Up to 30 days
Long-term Freezer (-80°C) Indefinite (with care)

We offer a wide range of peptides for research purposes only. The most suitable peptide will depend entirely on your individual research needs.

We do not offer product advice or recommendations, so it is important that you carry out your own research to determine which peptide is appropriate for your intended use.
